Texas Performing Arts' Annual Discounted Ticket One-Day Sale Set for 6/5

Single tickets to the 2014-2015 Texas Performing Arts season go on sale Thursday, June 5th. In celebration, tickets to all season performances will be discounted for one day only. From midnight - 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, June 5th, single tickets to all 2014-2015 season performances will be priced at 15% off face value - this discount does not apply to Broadway performances. Tickets will be available at all authorized ticket outlets, which include the Bass Concert Hall Ticket Office, most H-E-B stores and all Texas Box Office outlets, online at www.texasperformingarts.org, or by calling (512) 477-6060 or (800) 982-BEVO.

Texas Performing Arts continues to present world-class performances to the University of Texas at Austin and Central Texas audiences. This 2014-2015 season highlights talent from around the world in a diverse mix of music, theatre, dance, and conversation.

The 2014-2015 Season features first-ever TPA performances by pioneering a cappella ensemble, the Swingle Singers, and a performance project featuring Stewart Copeland, drummer for the band The Police, and Texas-based pianist Jon Kimura Parker. Return engagements include dance favorites, Martha Graham Dance Company and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, command performances by spectacular organist Cameron Carpenter, and the incomparable Max Raabe and his Palast Orchester. The season also highlights two of Austin's most prominent arts organizations, Conspirare and Austin Classical Guitar, in an unprecedented performance collaboration of new work by composer Nico Muhly.
