Brooklyn designer Haleh Nematzadeh is suing Yoko Ono for allegedly ripping off her Spring 2013 fetish-inspired collection that featured hand prints. Ono designed a a menswear line for Opening Ceremony that, similar to Nematzadeh's, featured handprints over the crotch or chest region, sheer fabric, and nip slips/tassels.

Nametzadeh told the New York Post that she had met with photographers working for Opening Ceremony last July in the hopes of getting her pieces featured in the store's catalog. But she claims they took her designs to Ono's design team.

"They took everything with no shame. They stole from me blatantly," said Nematzadeh.

Many other designers, like Diane von Furstenberg, have featured pieces with handprints. But these two do look oddly similar (see photo courtesy of Racked).

Hopefully this mess will not result in a huge lawsuit. And, one look at Ono's 1969 wedding present to John Lennon, titled "Fashions for Men" should help clear things up. These original drawings were the inspiration for her Opening Ceremony collection.
