Scott V. Kelly's new book, Cydonia ($16.49, paperback, 9781628714340; $8.99, e-book, 9781628714357) is a sci-fi mystery and suspense novel that explores a controversial and highly debated region on Mars, along with the mysteries of the planet itself. The author guides readers through exquisitely woven imagery of a futuristic world. Additionally, this book points to an underlying theme that mankind's efforts are nothing independent of its creator, Goda wake-up call and a reminder to readers.

"The book looks into the possibility of life on other planets," states the author. "[With this book] I hope readers will gain a better understanding that everything in the universe belongs to God. Despite what we do and where we go, God is in control and every good thing comes from God."

Scott V. Kelly has devoted nearly two decades to research surrounding Genesis and the biblical flood. The author adds, "Research on Atlantis seems to indicate it was a real place and 'sank' into the ocean at the same time the biblical flood happened. It is my conclusion that man had developed vast cities and technology before the flood hit, and by doing so, walked away from God. The Bible does not speak against the possibility of life on other planets. With this, I wrote this science fiction story using my own conclusions about Atlantis and the pre-flood time mentioned in the Bible." Scott V. Kelly is also the author of the sci-fi novel, Year Everything Changed published in 2012.
