West Australian Filmmaker Aaron McCann Joins #7DAYSLATER on ABC2 and YouTube

One half of West Australian comedy duo Henry & Aaron AKA filmmaker Aaron McCann (Henry & Aaron's 7 Steps to Superstardom, Perished, It's A Snap!) has been cast in #7DAYSLATER, an innovative, interactive, multi-platform comedy series Being broadcast on ABC2 and YouTube.

Inspired by Saturday Night Live, the show is the brainchild of Australian filmmakers Daley Pearson (The Strange Calls) and Nick Boshier (Bondi Hipsters, Beached Az) where each episode is written, shot, edited and broadcast within seven days.

Following the international success of his gory digital short, It's A Snap! and popular web series Henry & Aaron's 7 Steps to Superstardom, McCann was approached to star in the show alongside fellow Youtube superstars Alex Williamson (Loosest Aussie Bloke EVER), Christiaan Van Vuuren (Fully Sick Rappa, Bondi Hipsters), Paul Michael Ayre (Justice Lease), Jordan Raskopoulos (Axis of Awesome), Florence Noble, Bishanyia Vincent and Neel Kolhatkar (Australia in 2 Minutes).

Perth-based McCann is residing in Sydney for the next six weeks working with the team to bring each episode to life. Seven days before each episode is released, the team announces a celebrity guest star and keyword via YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and Triple J.

The first episode debuted on 22 October and featured the keyword 'Drama Queen' and celebrity guest Colin Mochrie (Who's Line is it Anyway?)

Episode 2 will debut this Tuesday 29 October featuring the keyword 'Aliens' and starring celebrity guest and 80's icon, Corey Feldman (The Goonies, The Lost Boys).

Funded by the ABC, Screen Australia, Screen NSW and Screen Queensland, this innovative, new series will feature six episodes produced by Ludo Studio, a Production Company formed by Pearson, Boshier, Dave Jansen and Charlie Aspinwall.

McCann is Looking forward to returning to Perth for Christmas and the world premiere of his latest Henry & Aaron project, which will be announced in the coming weeks. All of Henry & Aaron's videos can be seen at www.henryandaaron.com.
