And finally, a Happy Birthday shout-out to Andrea McArdle, who turns 51 today!

McArdle made her Broadway debut in 1977 in the title role of Annie and became the youngest performer ever to be nominated for a Tony Award for Best Lead Actress in a Musical. She appeared in the TV movie Rainbow, starring Judy Garland, the following year. McArdle went on to star in Broadway's Les Miserables, Starlight Express, Beauty and the Beast and State Fair. She played 'Sally Bowles' in an international tour of Cabaret in 2001 and more recently returned to Annie as 'Miss Hannigan' in North Carolina and Los Angeles. Her most recent regional credit was last year's Mame at Bucks County Playhouse.
