Graydon Carter, a long-time editor and contributor to Vanity Fair, made his producing Broadway debut in 2013 with I'll Eat You Last: A Chat with Sue Mengers. The production starred Tony and Grammy Award-winning superstar Bette Midler, appearing on Broadway for the first time in almost 40 years, playing the legendary Hollywood agent Sue Mengers (1932-2011) in the new play. The production ran in a strictly limited engagement at the Booth Theatre.
