On last night's AMERICAN IDOL, Season 5 runner-up Katharine McPhee reprised her awe-inspiring version of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" and reminded us all why there's no place like home! Watch the performance below!

Although she placed in second place next to Idol winner Taylor Hicks, McPhee went on to star on NBC's musical drama series SMASH. She can currently be seen on CBS's THE SCORPIAN.

The actress released her debut album in 2007. She recently dropped her second studio album 'Hysteria' featuring the single "Lick My Lips."

Last night on AMERICAN IDOL, the Top Four finalists were announced, including MacKenzie Bourg, Trent Harmon, Dalton Rapattoni and La'Porsha Renae. After America's vote was revealed, Sonika Vaid was eliminated.

Next week, with the STAKES higher than ever, the finalists will perform three songs - one a judges' pick, another Scott Borchetta's pick and the third is each contestant's pick as a tribute to his or her hometown. Tune in Thursday, March 31 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) to see the Top Four return to their hometowns for the iconic IDOL homecoming, as well as which finalists make it to the finale. Also, IDOL judge Keith Urban will perform.
