On last night's The Voice on NBC, Broadway vet Sasha Allen faced Amber Carrington in a spiritEd Battle round as they sang a dueling duet of Pink's hit song 'Try.' Check out the performance below!

Judge Adam Levine was faced with a tough decision, telling Allen, "Pairing you with Amber, initially I thought you were gonna wipe the floor with her." Ultimately he chose Amber to remain on his team.

All was not lost however, as new judges Shakira and Usher quickly pressed their buttons in an attempt to snatch up the vocal powerhouse for their respective team. Going with her instincts, Allen chose to join Shakira in the competition.

Sasha Allen has Made a career as a backing vocalist for Grammy winners Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera, John Legend, and pop star Leona Lewis. She portrayed "Dionne" in the Tony Award-winning revival of the hit Broadway show Hair: The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical at the Al Hirschfield Theatre in New York City, and continued with the original American cast to the Gielgud Theatre on the West End in London.

Currently, she is working with acclaimed choreographer and director Bill T. Jones on his new musical, Superfly, produced by renowned record executive Tommy Mottola, the Mottola Group, and the Dodgers.
