The Hollywood Reporter has debuted a first look at MAX ROSE, starring Jerry Lewis as a jazz pianist, Max, who has just lost his wife of more than 50 years. Max discovers something just days before she dies that leads him to believe she has been unfaithful, and he attempts to search out the truth. Check out a first look below!

Claire Bloom, Kevin Pollak, Kerry Bishe and Mort Sahl will also star. Max Rose will be backed by producers Mosaic Media Group's Lawrence Inglee, Lightstream Pictures' Garrett Kelleher and The Woodshed's Elijah Wood and Josh C. Waller.

Lewis has appeared onstage in Broadway's Jerry Lewis at the Palace, Hellzapoppin and Damn Yankees (also in the West End). Lewis signed composer Marvin Hamlisch and book writer Rupert Holmes to craft the stage musical adaptation of The Nutty Professor, which recently had its pre-Broadway premiere in Nashville last summer.

Lewis last appeared in a lead role in 1995's Funny Bones, as well as 1983's The King Of Comedy, directed by Martin Scorsese. Other recent film credits include Big Finish, The Nutty Professor, Hardly Working, Arizona Dream.
