Universal Pictures Picks Up Michael Mitnick Musical Comedy

According to a report by Deadline.com, Universal Pictures has picked up an as-yet untitled musical comedy by Michael Mitnick, libretto writer for Broadway's musical adaptation of Animal House, currently in the works.

The musical will be produced by The Gordon Company's Mark Gordon and Jennifer Todd.

Michael Mitnick's work has been produced and developed around the country at theaters including Second Stage, Manhattan Theatre Club, The Roundabout, Ars Nova, The McCarter, Denver Center Theatre Company, Studio 42, The Lark, TheatreWorks, 52nd Street Project, Washington Ensemble Theatre, Page 73, The Kennedy Center and commercially.
