It's an 'on the air' family affair at Pantochino's new musical "The Great Cinnamon Bear Christmas Radio Show" now playing at the Center for the Arts in Milford through December 29th. Two real life mother-daughter acting teams play leading roles in the holiday show making this a special event for both families, and audiences as well!

Dale Allen who plays radio star Lureen Lamour has worked around the world in corporate events, commercials and voice-overs. Her 13-year-old daughter, Dani Corrigan, joins her on stage as child star Shirley Ann Shirley. Residents of Fairfield, this is their second time sharing the spotlight. Last year, they appeared as mother and daughter in Pantochino's "Glitz! The Little Miss Christmas Pageant Musical."

Shelley Marsh Poggio is a long-time member of Pantochino Productions, having worked with the company since it's inception. She plays radio actress Winnie Wolfe, and her daughter Kylie Poggio, age 12, plays her on-stage daughter, child star Clara Bell. The Poggio team, from Durham, also appeared together in "Glitz!"

"It's great to work with both of these mother-daughter teams" said director Bert Bernardi. " All four of these women are so talented, and it brings a very real, honest dimension to the show," he added.

"The Great Cinnamon Bear Christmas Radio Show" by Bert Bernardi and Justin Rugg is a joyous, heartwarming story set in a studio during the golden age of radio. The story of the radio play follows a whimsical bear and his journey with two young children in search of a Christmas tree star. Meanwhile, behind the scenes, a new station manager threatens to pull the plug on the holiday broadcast.
