Multi-Tony Award nominee Tovah Feldshuh, Richard Blake, Bradley Dean, as well as Etai BenShlomo and Natalie Ellis are among the actors taking part in a private October 25 workshop presentation of 'Damascus Square,' a new musical co-written by Shai Baitel, Oran Eldor, and Sarah Hirsch.

'Damascus Square' tells the story of a spy who befriends the enemy, endangering himself and his mission. It is inspired by the story of Eli Cohen, the famous Israeli master spy who worked for the Mossad in Syria in the 1960s. 'Damascus Square' takes the audience to the Middle East but also into the hearts and minds of the region's people. In a world that redefines itself, one man's dangerous journey puts loyalty, friendship and love to the test. Set during the time of a revolution in Syria, 'Damascus Square' is surprisingly relevant today.

Drama Desk Winner Mary Mitchell Campbell is the music supervisor. Ohad Ashkenazi directs with videos by video art director Guy Romem.

'Damascus Square' is presented by Mana Contemporary, a groundbreaking arts and cultural center, and is supported by major producers.
