Tickets to Disney's THE LITTLE MERMAID at TUTS on Sale 5/3

Back by popular demand, Theatre Under The Stars (TUTS) invites you to take a trip back under the sea for the return engagement of Disney's The Little Mermaid! This fun-filled, timeless tale will play for five performances only September 10 - 13 at The Hobby Center for the Performing Arts.

In a magical kingdom fathoms below, we meet Ariel, the little mermaid who is tired of flipping her fins and longs to be part of the fascinating world on dry land. Based on the Disney animated film and hit Broadway musical, The Little Mermaid is back to thrill TUTS audiences! The show features all of the favorite songs like "Under The Sea" and "Part of Your World" as well as new songs written by Oscar-winning Disney composer Alan Menken, the mastermind behind productions such as Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin and Pocahontas. Lyrics are by Howard Ashman and Glen Staler and book by Doug Wright.

TUTS will kick off Disney's The Little Mermaid in Houston this September and will then co-present the production in four additional cities. After closing on Broadway in 2009, The Little Mermaid underwent two years of intensive work to fine-tune and master the production. In 2014, TUTS produced the revised version which included mesmerizing scenery, dazzling new costumes and high-flying action.

TUTS' 2015/16 season is generously sponsored by CHI St. Luke's Health. For all shows, air transportation is provided by United Airlines, the official airline of TUTS.
