Since 1917 New York's Drama Book Shop has been a regular haunt for both theatre professionals and loyal fans, providing the city's most extensive collection of scripts and theatre-related publications for sale. In 2011, the shop was presented with a Tony Honor for Excellence in the Theatre.

One of the store's legendary regulars is filmmaker and puppeteer Frank Oz. Working with Jim Henson's Muppets, Oz's voice and puppetry skills have brought hilarious life to such outrageous characters as Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Grover, Cookie Monster and Bert. He's also the voice of STAR WARS' beloved Yoda.

His film directing credits include THE MUPPETS TAKE MANHATTAN, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS and IN & OUT.

But before all that he was a young acting student in the 1960s, frequenting the Drama Book Shop to find the plays he needed for classes.
