"MCM World Media" is pleased to announce the signing of indie rock band, "The Hunts". The group consists of seven siblings ages 14-23 including twin sisters Jenni & Jessi and five younger brothers Josh, Jonathan, Jordan, Justin & Jamison. Though the group is young, they are an experienced touring act averaging approximately 100 performances per year, to large performing arts theatre audiences nationwide. All seven Hunts are vocalists and multi-instrumentalists, well versed on guitar & bass, violin, mandolin, ukulele, banjo, piano & keyboards and drums & percussion.

The Hunts debut CD "We Were Young" is officially scheduled for release on January 22th, 2013 on the MCM World Media Label. The project was produced by acclaimed, award winning producer Mark Carman in Nashville at the famous "Tracking Room" studio. An advance release of their new single "Make This Leap" was sent to key radio markets with Triple A, Americana, Indie and Alternative formats and has been receiving excellent reviews and significant sales activity. It is distributed by The Orchard and is available through itunes, amazon and other retailers.

James Steele, Program Director for WROX (96X) Norfolk, Virginia and affiliate [Sinclair/Emmis owned stations] added The Hunts single "Make This Leap" into their current programming playlist reported: "...The single is reacting very well, and will continue to as The Weeks pass. We can connect in January, and look at possibly doing some sort of event or tying the band into an event in the early/mid months of 2013!"

Former Los Angeles radio & television marketing executive Scott Orchard said: "Things are moving fast for this group. Mark [Carman], the president of MCM, has been fielding inquiries from booking agents, recording labels and consumer brands prior to the group's official release. The appeal of this group first and foremost is the quality of their music. All of The Hunts contribute to this Album of 10 tracks as songwriters, musicians and singers. The fact that they are an attractive family in the highly valued teen and 'tween demographic seems to be resonating with some of the [clothing, auto, retail] Brand Managers who have reached out to us."

The Hunts have also entered into a major Music Publishing agreement with "Songs Publishing", New York, NY. Corey Roberts, A&R representative for Songs said, "We are very, very, excited about having The Hunts as part of our roster!"

Tom DeSavio, Head of Creative Services for Songs Los Angeles office said "I am seriously digging this band!"

In support of the new release "The Hunts" will be on tour across the United States. Visit The Hunts website athttp://www.huntsontour.com for scheduling and more information.
