The Fools & Kings Project is pleased to announce its two mainstage outdoor productions for its fourth season. First up in May 2017 will be Much Ado About Nothing, directed by Kenny Wade Marshall. Marshall previously directed the company's 2016 production of The Comedy of Errors. Ian Heitzman (Fools & King's Romeo & Juliet) will return as Fight Director.

The second show of the season, in September 2017, will be Pericles, directed by Rob Sniffin, collaborating with The Fools & Kings Project for the first time. Mr. Sniffin is the Artistic Director of Barefoot Shakespeare Company. Joining the production is Assistant Director Cameron Clarke (Fools & Kings alum: King John, 2015; The Tempest, 2016).

Much Ado About Nothing and Pericles will both be performed at the Riverbank State Park Ampitheatre and at Summit Rock in Central Park. The audition announcement for Much Ado is forthcoming.

Dedicated to the production of accessible and enticing Shakespeare, The Fools & Kings Project is operated by Melissa Meli (Artistic Director), Vanessa Wendt (Managing Director), and Shann Smith (Social Media and Marketing Director).
