The Eagles, have added additional dates to their busy 2013-2014 concert schedule. When it comes to the rock scene of the 70's, one of the most memorable bands from that era would have to be The Eagles. This band was so influential and popular in the 70's that 40 years later plenty of their songs can still be heard on the radio. For fans that would want to see them back in action, there will be several more opportunities to see Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit all in their splendid glory as they embark on yet another leg of their "History of the Eagles" Tour.

The Eagles are American rock band with their roots being in Los Angeles, California. They have won six Grammys, five American music awards, seven number-one singles, and six number one albums along with their countless accolades. They are one of the most influential bands of their time with two of their albums being ranked among the 20 best-selling albums in the United States.

Among the band's impressive repertoire of songs and chart-toppers, people of all ages-even those of today's generation-are familiar with their songs such as "Desperado," "Hotel California," and "Tequila Sunrise."

They have won the Grammy Awards a total of six times. "Lyin' Eyes" won the best pop vocal performance in 1975. Their single "Hotel California" won record of the year in 1977. Their song "New Kid in Town" won the best arrangement in the same year. The song "Heartache Tonight" won the Best Rock Vocal performance in 1979. After the band's breakup and reunion, they once again won the Grammy in 2008 for their song "How Long." Their latest Grammy was in 2009 for the song "I Dreamed There Was No War."

The band's career started in 1972 and lasted for 8 years before breaking up in 1980. They had a reunion concert and released an album in 1994. More than 40 years later since their humble beginnings, they are back again with a new tour that will go along with the new Eagle's documentary entitled "History of the Eagles." The new DVD/Blu-ray will contain rare materials and footages along with never-before seen home movies. Also, the three-disc set will include the band's two night stay in Washington D.C. back in 1977 during their first Hotel California tour

Experience the music and magic of one of the most influential rock groups in history by attending "The History of The Eagles" at a nearby venue during 2013.
