The ARSC (Association for Recorded Sound Collections) will present BROADWAY AROUND THE WORLD ON RECORD, a multimedia presentation at The Sonic Arts Center at CUNY/CCNY on Thursday, October 25 at 7 pm. Free admission!

With material written and hosted by Dan Langan and Multimedia and additional material by Ron Spivak, you are invited to come trace the immense popularity of Broadway musicals around the globe from the late 1890s until today. Through rare and unusual audio/video materials, and some live performances, you will hear familiar songs from Broadway musicals sung in unfamiliar languages — some quite beautiful, and others that range from hilarious to mind-boggling!
