Tenth Intervention presents "We Are Legion," a new immersive chamber work with dance based on the hacktivist collective Anonymous.

The new piece by Dorian Wallace, titled "We Are Legion" blends extreme metal, free improvisation, and contemporary classical musical idioms, addressing Anonymous' mission to uphold freedom of speech and expression, as well as actively fighting against civic, corporate, and religious extremism and oppression. All audience and performers will be intermingled, and all wearing Guy Fawkes masks. Our guest artists are LottDance and New Vintage Baroque.

"We Are Legion" will have it's premiere during a time in the United States when weekly news reports are plagued by police brutality, gun violence, and government surveillance.

About the group:

Tenth Intervention is a collective of musicians in New York City that specializes in curating and performing contemporary classical music in unconventional settings in New York City. Recent projects included the chamber music of Son Lux and DM Stith, a Halloween haunted salon performance of Arnold Schoenberg's Pierrot Lunaire in Brooklyn with Luis Bun?uel's "Un Chien Andalou" with live score, and a new work for bondage artist and solo piano by Nathan Hall called "Tame Your Man."
