Andrea Martin has had a long and illustrius career in film, TV and on the Broadway stage.  She is currently involved in no less than three projects and has somehow also found time to start up a Twitter account to interact with her fans and keep people in the loop!  Andrea is working on touring her one woman show Everything Must Go (with Seth Rudetsky) as well as participating in two Broadway workshops - BALLROOM (directed by Jerry Mitchell) and CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY (directed by Sam Mendes).

Known for many different roles, some of the most remembered perhaps being Edith Prickly from SCTV and Aunt Voula from My Big Fat Greek Wedding, now that Ms. Martin is on Twitter fans around the world can keep up with her comings and goings and hopefully one day see her FINAL DAYS! EVERYTHING MUST GO show if it comes to a city near them!

Andrea was kind enough to speak to BWW about her one woman show (ticket giveaway to the show in London, Ontario coming soon) and joked about the reasons she finally caved and joined Twitter.

In her own words, the Top 5 Reasons Andrea Martin has joined Twitter:

1. Trying to keep current before I'm dead.
2. I like saying the word "tweet". Makes me feel like a "woman".
3. Now that I check my Twitter page every 5 minutes, I've stopped watching reruns of Hoarders.
4. I want Kristen Chenoweth's career. Kristen's followers: 90,000. Andrea's: 379.
5. Tired of seeing "you have 22 friends waiting". Oh, that's facebook. How to I get on that?
