On June 2, BroadwayWorld was there for Kristin Chenoweth's live concert tour at NYC’s City Center. The star, one of Broadway's greatest recent exports, has in her cast: Tyler Hanes (who did DANCING WITH THE STARS with her), Chelsea Packard (who was in PROMISES, PROMISES with her) and Will Taylor, who she saw in THE PRODUCERS. The concert tour is directed byRichard Jay-Alexander with musical direction by Mary Mitchell Campbell. Check out our full photo coverage here!

More than 20 years after its premiere, Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens have re-invented their first musical with Tony-nominated director Thomas Kail (In the Heights, Lombardi, Magic/Bird), choreographer Bradley Rapier (So You Think You Can Dance, Jesus Christ Superstar) and new orchestrations by music director Lynne Shankel (Disney's Beauty and the Beast, Altar Boyz). The 68th annual Theatre World Awards were just held on June 5th, 2012. The winners for Outstanding Broadway or Off-Broadway Debut Performances during the 2011-2012 theatrical season were: Tracie Bennett (End of the Rainbow), Phillip Boykin (The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess), Crystal A.
