THE FARTISTE will play its final performance tonight, November 27th (3 pm) at Sofia's Downstairs, 221 West 46th Street. The musical will have played 15 previews and 20 performances.

With book by Charlie Schulman and music and lyrics by Michael Roberts, THE FARTISTE featured Kevin Kraft as Joseph Pujol along with Nick Wyman, Lindsay Roginski, Herndon Lackey, Analisa Leaming, Rachel Kopf and sound effects artist Steven Scott. John Gould Rubin directed with choreography by Richard Move. Producers were The Schulberts and Robert Dragotta joined by Ratter Productions, LLC and Stephen Hanks as co-producers.

THE FARTISTE was first presented at the NYC International Fringe Festival where it received the Outstanding Musical Award. The story is about the life of Joseph Pujol whose musical derriere propelled him to being the highest paid performer at the Moulin Rouge in 1890's Paris.
