The world's greatest love story takes to the streets in this landmark Broadway musical that is one of the theatre's finest accomplishments. Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet is transported to modern-day New York City, as two young idealistic lovers find themselves caught between warring street gangs, the "American" Jets and the Puerto Rican Sharks. You remember the plot. You love the characters. You know "the song." It's no less than the stage adaptation of one of the most celebrated and beloved films of all time. 1920's Hollywood is the setting for this zany, light-hearted romantic comedy about the early days of sound film, when many a movie studio found itself scrambling to salvage the career of its chipmunk-voiced silent picture star.

La Cage Aux Folles remains one of the all-time biggest hits, adding new dimension to the boulevard comedy. After twenty years of un-wedded bliss Georges and Albin, two men partnered for better-or- worse get a bit of both when Georges' son (fathered during a one-night fling) announces his impend- ing marriage to the daughter of a bigoted, right-wing politician. Further complicating the situation is the 'family business': Albin and Goerges run a drag nightclub in St. Tropez, where Albin is the "star" perfomer 'Zaza'. Georges reluctantly agrees to masquerade as "normal" when he meets the family of the bride-to-be. But Albin has other plans, with hilarious results.

The dazzling score features well known standards including Blue Skies, I Love A Piano, How Deep Is The Ocean and the perennial favorite, White Christmas.
