STAGE TUBE: Broadway's HAIR Cast Honors Michael Jackson On GMA

The entire cast and all-star band of HAIR, the Tony-Award Winning Best Musical Revival, performed live on the "Good Morning America" Summer Concert Series segment on Friday, June 26th, in Central Park. In this STAGE TUBE clip, the HAIR cast pays tribute to Michael Jackson by singing the late pop music icon's song, "I'll Be There", on the telecast.

Michael Jackson, pop music superstar, passed away on June 25th, after suffering a heart attack. He was 50 years old.

Directed by Diane Paulus and choreographed by Karole Armitage, HAIR features a book and lyrics by Gerome Ragni and James Rado and music by Galt MacDermot.

The new Broadway production of HAIR is the winner of the 2009 Tony Award for Best Revival of a Musical. The Drama Desk, Drama League, and Outer Critics Circle also recently honored the production with their 2009 award for Outstanding Revival of a Musical.
