Well-Strung, the pop/classical fusion group, released their second music video today titled "Blank Space (Feat. Johann Sebastian Bach)" in advance of their new album POPssical due this October. The video can be viewed on their YouTube channel and the single can be downloaded on iTunes. The composition is a mash-up of the group singing Taylor Swift's hit song "Blank Space" while playing Johann Sebastian Bach's illustrious "Partita No. 3 in E Major (BWV 1006)" arranged by group members Christopher Marchant and Trevor Wadleigh and directed by Blake Drummond. The video can be considered the group's official 'coming out' with its sweet-natured and mainstream depiction of chance meetings and dating. This video follows the wildly successful "Chelsea's Mom" video the group released earlier this summer which resulted in viral views, coverage on major political and entertainment outlets like MSNBC and People, and culminated in a live performance for Hillary Clinton.

Well-Strung features Edmund Bagnell (first violin), Christopher Marchant (second violin), Daniel Shevlin (cello) and Trevor Wadleigh (viola), a string quartet with a modern twist playing universally recognized classical pieces while singing hits from the likes of Rihanna, Kelly Clarkson, and other pop stars for a wildly engaging and unique experience. Conceived by Mark Cortale and Christopher Marchant, the foursome has quickly gained international attention. They have performed at the NYC TrevorLIVE Gala as well as appearances and performances on The Today Show and Watch What Happens Live. They have also performed with artists like Kristin Chenoweth, Deborah Voigt, Norm Lewis, and Sierra Boggess and were recently invited to perform alongside Neil Patrick Harris in his upcoming Provincetown concert.

The recording of Well-Strung's new album POPssical is the culmination of their year-long national tour of the show by the same name. As passionate fans and practitioners of both classical and pop music, the quartet has made surprising combinations of the two genres their trademark. The foursome note that hearing their fans' equally passionate response to their live show version of POPssical inspired them to record the unique show as an album. POPssical is scheduled for release October 2 on Music With A Twist, the independent label from Logo founder Matt Farber.

Well-Strung recently debuted their brand new show Summer Lovin' at The Art House in Provincetown, directed by Richard Jay-Alexander and running through September 12. For Summer Lovin' tickets and information visit www.ptownarthouse.com.
