Contestant Marcus Canty is the most recent performer to be eliminated from the Fox talent competition THE X FACTOR.  The singer left the stage with a positive attitude, commenting,  "I'm elated. I'm so elated to be in this position. People may say, 'You didn't win. You didn't make it to the finale.' But it's such a blessing to even be in the Top 4. I'm just a happy person. That's how I get through life - positive energy."

The 20-year-old from Bowie, Maryland was gratious in accepting the results of last night's show.  He explained, "I feel like I gave everything I had. I have no regrets. All of the songs that were chosen, I had a hand in picking. It was about going out there and giving it your all each week." The actor revealed that he believed his best performance was Michael Jackson's 'PYT'.

Asked about his future plans now that he will no longer be competing on THE X FACTOR, Canty commented,  "I want to cater to the ladies, obviously. Hopefully I can do some stuff with Paula."
