Country singer Dolly Parton just accepted the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge! Even though the star says in the video the feat is "not on her bucket list", she passes with flying colors, with the help of two of her nieces. watch!

Parton wrote the music and lyrics for Broadway's 9 TO 5: THE MUSICAL, for which she was nominated for a Tony and two Drama Desk Awards in 2009.

Parton was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1999 and has composed more than 3,000 songs, with 25 tunes reaching No. 1 on the Billboard Country charts. She has received 8 GRAMMY Awards and two Oscar nominations.

As an actress, she has starred on the big screen in 9 to 5, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Rhinestone, A Smoky Mountain Christmas, Steel Magnolias, Wild Texas Wind, Straight Talk, Joyful Noise and more.
