When NateKid began the process of laying down the track for April Showers who else could he get to do this duet with him but the incomparable Alan Cumming (The Good Wife, X2, Golden Eye, Spy Kids, Smurfs). Alan lent his unique voice which has had fans of the Broadway stage swooning for years to NateKid's smokey baritone and together they created a heartfelt and moving rendition of April Showers.

NateKid, an urban renaissance man, is a talented singer, dancer and songwriter who has worked with talent such as Grammy winner Lauren Kinhan, Tony and Emmy Award winner Jennifer Maloney, Smalls Records Harold O'Neal, 2-time Grammy nominee Jane Monheit, Taylor Swift's musical director - David Cook, Peter Gunz and Milena Govich.

April Showers, which was published in 1921 is about how things get better, and even more beautiful, after you persevere through difficult times. NateKid says "I couldn't have asked for a better person to sing it with; Alan Cumming in my opinion is a film and stage star for all the right reasons. He's constantly expanding and taking on challenging roles, and, along with his artistic genius, he's always contributing to the world as a humanitarian and activist. I'm honored to call him a friend."
