During his appearance on LATE SHOW WITH STEPHEN COLBERT last Friday night, Broadway's Bobby Cannavale shared the exciting news that he and actress Rose Byrne had welcomed baby boy Rocco on Monday, February 1st.

"I had a baby on Monday, yes," the 45-year-old actor revealed during the show. "You know, I didn't do anything."
He jokingly continued, "We [men] don't do anything and I'm so tired. I think I've gained 28 pounds since Monday. I mean, I'm not kidding you. Like, this jacket fit so well, like, last Thursday. But I've been eating so much."

The VINYL star began dating Byrne in 2012. They have co-starred in the recent films ANNIE and ADULT BEGINNERS.

Congratulations to the new family!

Cannavale received a Tony nomination and a Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Actor in a Play for his performance in Broadway's 2011 The Motherf**cker with the Hat. The actor made his Broadway debut in 2008 in Theresa Rebeck's Mauritius (Tony nomination) and went on to star in the Broadway revival of Glengarry Glen Ross and The Big Knife. His TV credits include Broadwalk Empire, "Nurse Jackie," "Modern Family," "Will & Grace" (Emmy Award), "Six Feet Under" and "Cupid." He will soon star in the new HBO drama series VINYL.

Byrne recently made her Broadway debut in the revival of Moss Hart's "You Can't Take It with You"
