The Groovy Projects (www.thegroovyprojects.com) celebrates their second annual Groovy Project's "FUNdraiser" Benefit Monday March 30, 2015 beginning at 6:00pm at Therapy Lounge and Bar (348 West 52nd St, NY, NY 10019). Hosted by Nate Lombardi (Founder, The Groovy Projects), the benefit features a buffet of hors d'oeuvres, special drinks and pricing, live musical performances, merriment, and a call to supporting arts education for students through the work of The Groovy Projects.

The evening's cabaret features performances by Zakiya Young (StickFly), Sydney Winters (The Lion King), Robin DeJesus (Wicked), Zak Resnick (Piece Of My Heart), Mia Gentile (Kinky Boots), Jamie Cepero (Smash), E. Clayton Cornelius (Beautiful), Julie Roger (Wicked), Ryan Duncan (Shrek), Josh Dawson (Broadway Boys), David Austin (Beaches), Luke Hawkins (Cirque Du Soleil), Derek Smith (Texas Step), Matthew Yeager and Adam Weh.

Natalie Joy Johnson (Kinky Boots) will host the evenings auction to help raise money for the non-for profit.

A Photo Booth by Claudia Her Photography provides free self portraits to sponsor the #YoureNotAlone Campaign.

General Tickets For The Evening are $50 including 2 drink tickets. A number of VIP tickets $75) are still available and include preferred seating for the cabaret. To purchase tickets, visit: https://www.fracturedatlas.org/site/fiscal/profile?id=3022.

Make a $50 or $75 dollar donation (depending upon your choice of ticket for the evening) and email your name and amount of purchased tickets to booking@thegroovyprojects.com. You will receive a confirmation email and your name will be at the door for entry. Easy, peasy, simple and groovy.

The evening's cabaret is produced by Nate Lombardi and Hadley Schnuck. Press and social provided by Bryan Campione (broadway_buzz). Additional support from the "Groovy Staff" including: Nicole Nelson, Joe Ramaglia and Adam Web. Special thanks to Groovy Project's Vice President Jennifer Maloney-Prezioso (Producer- Rock of Ages), Paul Leasure (Therapy), every performer, artist, person and team member that allows The Groovy Projects to empower students through artistic, interactive and life-changing projects!

The Groovy Projects is a non-for profit organization on a mission to empower students and their teachers and experience how lifting up peers feels worlds better than breaking them down and to educate them on how to deal with bullying (and make it stop).
