ROAD HOUSE is set to reappear on the big screen, revamped by director Rob Cohen, according to The Hollywood Reporter. MGM is remaking the movie from a script by Michael Stokes.

The original 1989 film starred Patrick Swayze as a bouncer at a small town bar who becomes entangled in the corrupt world of a business man who controls the town. Rowdy Herrington directed the movie, which also starred Kelly Lynch and Sam Elliott.

Cohen's next project as director is The Boy Next Door. He has also directed Alex Cross, The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, xx, The Fast and the Furious, Scandalous and more.
