Regent's Park Open Air Theatre has confirmed that J.M. Barrie's original stage play of Peter Pan will open its 2015 season (15 May - 14 June 2015). This will be followed by The Seagull (19 June - 11 July) and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers(16 July - 29 August). Following sell-out performances in 2011, Timothy Sheader's production of William Golding's Lord of the Flies will then return to the Open Air Theatre (3 - 12 September) to conclude the 2015 season, prior to a major UK tour.

Rediscovering J. M. Barrie's original play of Peter Pan, Artistic Director Timothy Sheader creates a Never Land where danger stalks dreams and adventure breeds mischief. Following his work on The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess in 2014, Liam Steel co-directs. Timothy previously directed To Kill A Mockingbird, currently touring the UK, and the Olivier Award-winning revivals of Crazy For You, Into the Woods and Hello, Dolly!

The Seagull is directed by Matthew Dunster (who previously directed A Midsummer Night's Dream at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre in 2012) in a new version by Torben Betts. The first of Chekhov's great works, The Seagull is celebrated as one of the most important plays of the nineteenth century. As guests assemble at a country house for the staging of an avant-garde open air play, artistic temperaments ignite a more entertaining drama behind the scenes, with romantic jealousies, self-doubt and the ruthless pursuit of happiness confusing lives, loves and literature.

From the Golden Age of the movie musical, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers finds its perfect partner in the Open Air Theatre, and reunites the team behind the 2013 award-winning production of The Sound of Music. This much-loved musical includes Bless Your Beautiful Hide, Goin' Courtin, Wonderful, Wonderful Day, and the dance spectacular, Barn Dance.

In addition to The Sound of Music, Director Rachel Kavanaugh has also directed Love Story (Chichester / Duchess Theatre),The Music Man (Chichester) and has a new production of Oklahoma on UK tour in 2015. Choreographer, Alistair David, has previously worked on The Sound of Music (Open Air Theatre) and My Fair Lady (Sheffield Crucible) choreographing Anything Goes at Sheffield Crucible this Christmas.

For just 14 performances, the Open Air Theatre's 2011 production of Lord of the Flies, William Golding's classic story of survival, superstition and immorality, adapted for the stage by Nigel Williams, returns prior to a major UK tour.

Timothy Sheader's critically acclaimed production of Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird continues to tour the UK, following two hugely successful runs at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre, and returns to London from 24 June until 25 July 2015 at the Barbican with Tony award-winning American actor Robert Sean Leonard reprising the role of Atticus Finch.

Full cast and creative team for all productions will be announced in due course.
