Radio City Music Hall Expands Hours for Behind-the-Scenes Stage Door Tour

Due to overwhelming demand, Radio City Music Hall is proud to announce extended hours for The Radio City Stage Door Tour, a "must-see" attraction at the legendary venue for all New Yorkers and visitors to the Big Apple. This behind-the-scenes tour allows guests to experience the iconic venue from a unique vantage point, where many of the world's greatest entertainers have graced the Great Stage and delighted audiences for more than 80 years. The Stage Door Tour will now be open seven days a week, with tours running every half hour between 10:00am and 5:00pm.

"Radio City Music Hall is not only a national landmark, but also an integral part of the heart and soul of New York City. The legendary theater's intimate setting lends itself to hosting a wide variety of memorable events, shows, live performances, and special events which have become part of Radio City's great history," said Richard Claffey, senior vice president and general manager of theatre operations. "We are thrilled to offer extended hours of The Radio City Stage Door Tour and continue to share with patrons the opportunity to experience an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at this historical theatre."

The Radio City Stage Door Tour is a one-hour walking tour, led by enthusiastic and expertly trained tour guides, and offers an interactive experience while visiting the venue. Guests will explore the beautiful art-deco interior, learn the secrets and history of the Great Stage, one of the largest indoor performance stages in the world, and walk-through the lavish private apartment of "Roxy" Rothafel, known as The Roxy Suite. Visitors will also have the opportunity to meet one of the Rockettes, the stars of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, and take part in a kick-line through an interactive photo opportunity. Private VIP Tours are also available for guests to experience the Stage Door Tour with a dedicated tour guide and access to additional areas of the Music Hall not available to the public.

Each year Radio City hosts the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, which has been performed at the Music Hall every year since 1933. The Radio City Christmas Spectacular is America's #1 holiday production with more than one million people attending the beloved holiday theatrical annually.
