The New York Post's Michael Riedel is reporting that film star Ashton Kutcher is being rumored to join the steady roster of screen actors making their Broadway debuts. Kutcher reveals Riedel is considering an offer to star in Neil LaBute's "FAT PIG."

In "FAT PIG," Kutcher would play Tom, a nice-looking guy who dates the sweet but heavyset Helen.

"FAT PIG" played off-Broadway five years ago. It starred Jeremy Piven, reviews were decent but, for various reasons, the production never transferred to Broadway. Fran and Barry Weissler produced the play in London last year. The production, which LaBute directed, received glowing reviews, with some critics calling it his best play yet. LaBute will direct the Broadway version as well reports the Post.

"FAT PIG" Neil LaBute is described in press notes as "When Tom first meets Helen there is an instant connection, but it's not exactly love at first sight... Helen is a bright, funny, sexy young woman who happens to be plus-sized - and then some - and it's only so long before the insults start to fly from Tom's shallow yet shockingly funny office buddies. Television's hottest young comedians star in this searing, funny and ultimately touching love story."

Dates and a theater are yet to be determined. The read the full article click here.

Ashton Kutcher, is best known for playing Michael Kelso in the FOX sitcom That '70s Show. He was the creator, executive producer, and host of the MTV celebrity prank show Punk'd. He is known for his roles in films such as Dude, Where's My Car?, Just Married, The Butterfly Effect, The Guardian and What Happens in Vegas. He is also the producer and co-creator of the supernatural TV show Room 401 and the reality TV show Beauty and the Geek. He is married to actress Demi Moore.
