Tim Minchin will perform his dark, piano driven, pop-comedic cabaret stylings for an exclusive six-week engagement at the New World Stages from March 5-April 12 (previews begin March 3).

Critically acclaimed in London and his native Australia, Minchin launched onto the world comedy scene in 2005 with "Darkside," winning the Perrier Comedy Award for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.  His second show "So Rock," earned both the Most Outstanding Show and the Festival Directors Award at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.  His American debut was at the 2007 Aspen Comedy Festival, where he was awarded Best Alternative Performance.

Minchin has performed at venues around the world, including the Royal Albert Hall, Soho Theatre and Lyric theater in the UK, and has appeared on BBC America's The World Stands Up.

Performances are March 3-April 12: Monday-Thursdays at 8PM; Fridays & Saturdays at 9PM.

Tickets from $25-$50. For more information visit www.timminchin.com
