Pittsburgh Cultural Trust Announces Change in Messenger Legacy Band Ensemble at PJLIF, 6/20-22

Due to a scheduling conflict, legendary jazz musician, Bobby Watson will not be a part of the ensemble, the Messenger Legacy Band, for a tribute to Art Blakey, at the fourth annual Pittsburgh JazzLive International Festival (PJLIF) held June 20-22, 2014 on outdoor stages throughout downtown Pittsburgh's Cultural District.

Mr. Watson will be appearing at Manchester Craftsmen's Guild with his band HORIZON on Saturday, April 12th, and due to no fault of his own, he was listed as a member of the Messenger Legacy Band. Tickets are available at 412-322-0800 or mcgjazz.org.

PJLIF attracts more than 20,000 attendees from around the country. The Festival features local, emerging, and national and international musicians in a variety of performance settings, including outdoor performance stages and indoor performance locations within local restaurants, coffee shops and galleries.
