Pint-sized theater critic Iain Armitage of "Iain Loves Theatre" fame has nabbed a role in HBO's upcoming adaptation of BIG LITTLE LIES, according to The Wrap. The limited series will star Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon, Alexander Skarsgård, Laura Dern, Adam Scott, Shailene Woodley and Zoe Kravitz. Iain will portray Woodley's son in the show.

As BWW previously reported, David E. Kelley penned the series based on Liane Moriarty's book of the same name. The story follows "three mothers to kindergartners whose seemingly perfect lives unravel to a murder-mystery that takes place during a disastrous parents' night at an elementary school fundraiser."

Kidman and Witherspoon will executive produce alongside Kelley, and novelist Moriarty, whose other books include What Alice Forgot, Three Wishes, The Hypnotist's Love Story and The Husband's Secret, will serve as a producer.

Below, watch Iain Armitage perform "Cabinet Battle #1" at the October 3rd #Ham4Ham lottery, featuring HAMILTON's Lin-Manuel Miranda, Daveed Diggs, and Christopher Jackson:
