Signature Theatre held its Annual Gala celebration on Monday, April 18, 2016, celebrating Signature's 25th Anniversary and honoring Founding Artistic Director James Houghton's leadership of the company, on the occasion of his final season as Artistic Director. Check out photos below!

Under Houghton's leadership the company launched three distinct residency programs; produced more than 100 plays; built The Pershing Square Signature Center, the largest theatre arts center in New York City in the last 50 years; created the Signature Ticket Initiative, designed to create accessibility to theatre for all; and became the first New York City recipient of the Regional Theater Tony Award.

This celebratory evening featured highlights from Signature's first 25 years, including music, live performance and video, with Signature's Board Chairman Edward Norton, Alumnus Ty Burrell, playwrights-in-residence, and many more.
