Penobscot Theatre Company is proud to present A Day in the Life: A Beatles Experience, for two performances only, February 25 at 7:00 pm and February 26 at 3:00 pm, at the historic Bangor Opera House. Featuring some of the region's most talented musicians, the multimedia show pays tribute to The Beatles' groundbreaking career, from Ed Sullivan to Abbey Road! "Our intimate venue offers the ideal setting to enjoy the influential music--and the poetry--of this legendary band," said Producing Artistic Director Bari Newport. "And there's no better way to close February, the month of love, than by celebrating the group that wrote the book on love! From The Fab Four's early days when they just wanted to hold our hands to their final recording, they reminded us that in the end, the love we take is the love we make."

Produced by bassist Morgan Cates, A Day in the Life: A Beatles Experience features Ira Kramer on rhythm guitar, Josh Kovach on lead guitar, Andrew Carlson on drums, and Phil Burns on keys. The song list includes fan favorites "I Want to Hold Your Hand," "Twist and Shout," "Yesterday," "I Am the Walrus," "Come Together," "Let It Be" and more; and evocative video enriches the live concert experience.

Regularly priced at $38, show tickets are available online at www.penobscottheatre.org or through the box office, located at 131 Main Street, Bangor; (207) 942-3333. Penobscot Theatre Company subscribers may take advantage of a $5 discount per ticket by purchasing by phone or in person. Student rush tickets will be offered for $20 each at the door (15 minutes before the start of each show) on a space available basis. See you at the theatre!
