The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra (BSO) regrets to announce that due to a scheduling conflict, Patti LuPone has withdrawn from the BSO's upcoming production of Leonard Bernstein's Candide, slated for June 11, 2015 at The Music Center at Strathmore and June 12-14, 2015 at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall.

The BSO's Vice President of Artistic Operations Matthew Spivey commented, "While we certainly regret the withdrawal of Ms. LuPone, we are still in the process of casting and are in discussions with several other prospects. I am confident that we will have an equally exciting replacement and will soon be able to announce a complete cast of the highest caliber."
