Pastor J.C. Weeks Releases WINNER TAKES ALL

Pastor and author J.C. Weeks knows all too well the fleeting tendencies of life. Having witnessed his father, Jim, nearly lose his life to a stroke, Weeks recognizes the triumphs of which the human spirit is capable.

In his new book, "Winner Takes All: What God Is Still Saying to the Church" (published by WestBow Press) Weeks discusses the victories one can achieve through faith in God.

Throughout his book, Weeks discusses how people can overcome any challenge in life through their faith in God, using the book of Revelation as a lens. He applies this approach to numerous topics, such as accidental sins, earthly prosperity versus God's prosperity and repentance.

In each section he begins with a passage from Revelation, which he then breaks down and applies to situations one may encounter in daily life. He then shifts his focus to the Church in each chapter, taking a critical stance regarding its activities and misinterpretations or malpractices in dealing with the Bible and its content.

Weeks hopes his book will not only help everyday readers achieve victory in their lives, but also encourage members of the Church to better connect with God's original message as He intended.

J.C. Weeks graduated from Lee University and has served in ministry for more than 25 years. He is the lead pastor of Crossroads Community Church in Titusville, Fla., where he lives with his wife, Melinda, and their son. His daughter and son-in-law also live in Florida.
