Emily Skinner is one of the bright lights shining in the amazing company of Broadway talent that has flown across the Pacific to star in the Tokyo world premiere of PRINCE OF BROADWAY, the new musical celebrating the extraordinary six-decade Broadway career of producer-director Harold Prince.

The Tony nominee for SIDE SHOW gave a dressing room sneak peak of her looks for moments when she plays two classic characters from Prince Tony-winners.

First, Joanne from COMPANY, all set to express her distain for the ladies who lunch.

Looking glamorous as A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC's Desiree Armfeldt, the famous actress whose failing love life has her lamenting, "Send In The Clowns."

Emily Skinner last appeared on Broadway starring in the acclaimed musical BILLY ELLIOT, being the first American selected to play the role of Billy's dance teacher, Mrs. Wilkinson.

She was nominated for a Tony Award (with Alice Ripley) and received a Drama League Award for her performance as Daisy Hilton in the original production of SIDE SHOW.

Her other original Broadway cast credits include JEKYLL & HYDE, JAMES JOYCE'S THE DEAD (opposite Christopher Walken), THE FULL MONTY, DINNER AT EIGHT (Outer Critics Circle Nomination), as well as The Actors Fund productions of THE BEST LITTLE WHOREHOUSE IN TEXAS and DREAMGIRLS.

PRINCE OF BROADWAY, which features words and music from many of the shows that have earned Hal Prince a record 21 Tony Awards, has a book by two-time Tony Award nominee David Thompson (The Scottsboro Boys, Steel Pier), co-direction and choreography by five-time Tony Award winner Susan Stroman (The Producers, Contact, Crazy for You) and direction by Mr. Prince.

The cast includes Josh Grisetti (It Shoulda Been You), Shuler Hensley (Tony Award winner for Oklahoma!), Ramin Karimloo (Phantom of the Opera, Tony Award nominee for Les Miserables), Nancy Opel (Honeymoon in Vegas, Tony Award nominee for Urinetown), Bryonha Marie Parham (After Midnight, The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess), Emily Skinner (Billy Elliot, Tony Award nominee for Side Show), Mariand Torres (Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812, Wicked), Kaley Ann Voorhees (Phantom of the Opera), Tony Yazbeck (Tony Award nominee for On the Town), Reon Yuzuki (former Top Star of the Takarazuka Revue Company's Star Troupe), Eric Van Tielen and Erin Clemons.

PRINCE OF BROADWAY plays from October 23-November 22, 2015 at Tokyu Theatre Orb in Tokyo, Japan and November 28-December 10, 2015 at Umeda Arts Theatre, Main Hall, in Osaka, Japan.
