Oscar Nominee Jessica Chastain to Join Jake Gyllenhaal in THE DIVISION

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jessica Chastain is currently in negotiations to join Jake Gyllenhaal in Ubisoft Motion Pictures' adaptation of its own hit video game THE DIVISION.

Set in dystopian New York City after a smallpox pandemic, the story will follow an agent of the Strategic Homeland Division, also known as 'The Division" who sets out to learn the origins of the outbreak.

Chastain will be soon be seen on the big screen in Miss Sloane and also will star opposite Daniel Bruhl in the World War II drama The Zookeeper's Wife. The Oscar nominee made her Broadway debut in the 2012 revival of THE HEIRESS.

Gyllenhaal made his Broadway debut in 2015 starring in Nick Payne's CONSTELLATIONS, opposite Ruth Wilson. As recently reported, the actor will return to Broadway in March 2017 to star in the revival of Lanford Wilson's BURN THIS. This October he will star in the New York City Center concert production of SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE, alongside Tony winner Annaleigh Ashford.
