New York Live Arts presents Eugene Lang College's Spring Performance, this week, May 8 & 9 at 7:30pm. Part of The New School for Liberal Arts, the dance program at Lang has been referred to as the "home to one of the more progressive collegiate dance departments in New York" (The New York Times).

Eugene Lang College and New York Live Arts are dedicated to emphasizing research and experimentation within the movement-based arts. This partnership features seasonal performances including premieres of original dance works created by guest choreographers. The spring performances will highlight choreographers Joanna Kotze (Movement Research Artist-In-Residence) and Rebecca Stenn (Lang faculty). It will also feature work generated by Juliette Mapp's Improvisation and Creative Practice course, as well student created works. All works will be performed by students of the Eugene Lang College dance program.

Performances will take place at New York Live Arts' Theater. Tickets are $9/Free for all New School students, faculty and alumni. Tickets may be purchased online at newyorklivearts/season, by phone at 212-924-0077 and in person at the box office.
