In the wonderful manner of A. A. Milne's well-loved Winnie-the-Pooh stories comes Sharon Davis VandenHul's literary debut, "Issy and Wuzzy." Beautifully illustrated and told in a captivating narrative, this delightful book about a girl, a bear and dandelion wishes is an ode to a child's vibrant imagination and the magic of stories.

Storytelling is a time-tested and well-loved tradition with many rewards. As a storyteller, VandenHul is familiar with the magic of stories and through the adventures of "Issy and Wuzzy" she is able to share her sense of wonder and imagination.

The book takes place on a beautiful meadow with deep, green grass beyond a stream where the dragonflies buzz and the shy trout hides beneath the bank. Here, a little girl strikes up a friendship with a bear. Together, the two have picnics, read books and enjoy the days of summer.

Suffused with soft whimsy and accompanied by original illustrations by VandenHul, "Issy and Wuzzy" is a delightful tale that reveals the joys of friendship and the magic of stories.
