NBC Sports Group to Air Over 30 Hours of 2015 UCI ROAD WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS Coverage

NBC Sports Group and UNIVERSAL SPORTS NETWORK will present more than 33 hours of coverage from the 2015 UCI Road Cycling World Championships in Richmond, Va., with NBC Sports Group's coverage beginning Sunday at 2 p.m. ET on CNBC with the live men's elite team time trial. NBC Sports Group's coverage continues throughout the week on NBCSN and CNBC, and concludes on Sunday, September 27 at Noon ET with the live elite men's road race on CNBC. On Sunday, Oct. 4, at Noon ET, NBC presents a one-hour recap of the event.

Held in Virginia's historic capital city, the nine-day event features more than 1,000 of the world's bestcyclists competing for their countries (70 countries represented). Among those also competing for a world championship rainbow jersey in addition to qualifying for the Rio Olympics are Team USA's Evelyn Stevens (San Francisco, Calif.) and Ben King (North Garden, Va.), Britain's Mark Cavendish, Slovenia'sPeter Sagan, Spain's Alejandro Valverde. Also riding for Team USA are Taylor Phinney (Boulder, Colo.) and Kristen Armstrong (Boise, Idaho) who continue their recent comebacks from injury.

Joining all telecasts from the field and hosting pre-race coverage on Universal Sports are veteran sports broadcaster Todd Harris and former professional and national team road cyclist Dotsie Bausch, a 2012 Olympic medalist in track cycling.

Paul Sherwen handles play-by-play for telecasts on NBC, NBCSN and CNBC joined by analyst Christian Vande Velde.

Calling the action for Universal Sports is play-by-play commentator Steve Schlanger alongside analystTodd Gogulski.
