Musicambia Gala at Dimmena Center for Classical Music

Musicambia has just announced that their annual gala will take place at the Dimenna Center for Classical Music on Friday, May 26th. This year's gala will feature performances by a few former students from the Musicambia at Sing Sing Program as well as members of the esteemed faculty (Attacca Quartet, Canadian Brass, Princeton Symphony Orchestra, etc.).

Doors will open at 7pm at musical performances will run throughout the evening until 10:30. Tickets are $50 and include one free drink and light refreshments. In addition to musical performances, there will be a silent auction with items such as tickets to a David Crosby concert, tickets to a taping of the Stephen Colbert show, tickets to the Metropolitan Opera and more! All proceeds from the silent auction and the event will go to support Musicambia's free music programming in prisons and jails.

The mission of Musicambia is to create humanizing experiences in United States prisons through regular music education. Musicambia's vision is that every incarcerated person in the US discovers their potential, and prisons become centers for humane rehabilitation.

The Gala will take place on Friday, May 26th at Dimenna Center for Classical Music, located at 450 West 37th Street, NYC. Doors open at 7pm.
