Celebrating the renowned Italian film and concert composer who is the Jacob Burns Film Center's International Artist-in-Residence in March. The program features the World Premiere of a new work by Gregoretti, who will be on hand for an audience Q&A, plus music by those who influenced him, including Stravinsky, Bartok, Nino Rota, and Ennio Morricone.

In collaboration with the Jacob Burns Film Center's International Film Artist-in-Residence program, this concert features the world premiere of a new work (Richiami) Gregoretti has written especially for this program, the American Premiere of another recent composition of his, and a sample from one of his film scores, plus music by master composers who have deeply influenced him, including Igor Stravinsky, Bela Bartok, and Nino Rota (composer of scores for Fellini, Visconti, DeSica, and two of The Godfather films). The composer will be on hand to introduce his work and lead an audience Q&A.
