MotorCity Casino Hotel to Present Musiq Soulchild at Sound Board, 4/10

MotorCity Casino Hotel is proud to announce Musiq Soulchild at Sound Board Sunday, April 10 at 8:00 p.m.

Musiq Soulchild (Taalib Johnson) is an R&B/soul singer-songwriter whose style blends contemporary R&B, soul, funk, alternative, blues, jazz, gospel influences, and hip hop. Musiq Soulchild has two platinum albums, two gold albums, and seven hit singles. He has received awards from Billboard, MTV, American Music Awards, and the NAACP. He has also received 11 Grammy Award nominations, including three for his 2007 album Luvanmusiq. In addition to his music, he has been featured in television and print ads for McDonald's, Nike, Inc. Coca-Cola, Levi Strauss & Company, and The Gap. On June 25, 2012, Musiq released a book on love and relationships titled "143 - Love According To Musiq".

Tickets ($50.00, $45.00, and $42.00) go on sale January 23 at all Ticketmaster locations and Ticketmaster.com. To charge tickets by phone, call (800) 745-3000.
