Check your class prejudice and unwarranted feelings of racial superiority at the door! Michael Reyes and The Left Hand present The Great Sleep And It's Clients. Subversive sketches designed to assault the annihilators of progressive consciousness and guillotine slice the gentry. Racist conservatives and and limousine liberals beware! YES WE CAN... Attempt to incite CLASS WARFARE IN OBAMA'S AMERICA!

Brooklyn native Michael Reyes is the BPC?s first Playwright-in-Residence. Reyes, who served as a soldier in the War in Iraq until 2004, is the author of ?Over There/Over Here? which has been produced at San Pedro's Warner Grand Theatre in California and Youth Onstage in New York City. Laurel Graeber of the New York Times called ?Over There/Over Here? a ?a moving portrait of a young man who traded one bullet-ridden hell for another? and Linda Armstrong of the Amsterdam News described the production with Youth Onstage as ?captivating, vividly candid and often very funny.? Reyes lists: Faust, Short Eyes, Rhinoceros, Zoo Story, The Homecoming, and Hamlet as works that have influenced his writing.
